ImmuOne (Kadans)

ImmuOne provides innovative in vitro products and testing services for inhalation safety assessment using state-of-the-art techniques. They specialise in human alveolar macrophage responses and epithelial cell culture. Their specialist team of in vitro scientists work to develop assays and endpoints for their customers’ translational and toxicity needs.

ImmuOne continues to grow at fast pace and pioneers to innovate in vitro technologies helping a wide range of industries to gain better safety predictions while meeting their sustainability goals. The fit-out was funded and managed by Kadans Science Partner.

To create CL2 laboratories and office space from the existing office on the first floor. The works included a larger lab split into functional areas such as analytics and cell culture, and a smaller manufacturing lab with an adjacent open plan office.

Laboratory Case Study

A compliant and efficient lab space was achieved with clear placement for all the key equipment to ensure correct services provision, e.g., gas & electrical outlets.

For office to lab conversion, mechanical ventilation with 6 air changes per hour was installed.

A bright office space with 18 desks and storage space benefited from a location with external views and overlooks a vibrant entrance area at Sycamore House.
