Project Goal

Advanced Research Clusters (ARC) – Europe’s leading network of science and innovation clusters at the leading edge of major knowledge economies like Oxford and London. Their passion is supporting science and innovation businesses to thrive. Their clusters create the best possible environments for innovation to make a difference in the world.

Our task: Acting on behalf of ARC, Bulb were appointed as the main contractor to design and deliver CL2 laboratories and associated offices, within a previously completed CAT A office space.

Skills & Results

Building 4100, a prominently located, detached building totalling 8,152 SQF has been comprehensively refurbished to provide fitted CL2 laboratory and office accommodation.

The seamlessly designed CL2 laboratory and office space features fixed and mobile lab benching, vulcathene drainage, vinyl floors, CAT 5 water installation, cryostore with emergency ventilation, external gas store and infrastructure. It also includes refurbished core areas and toilets, refurbished offices areas including kitchen, meeting and breakout spaces and passenger lift.
